June Artist Vasilisa Kiselevich

The poster says "I am not your beauty." Before the war, Zelensky told Putin that he needed to comply with the Minsk agreement. Putin mocked the agreement and replied with a paraphrase of an obscene and vulgar song "Like it or don't like it, you have to take it (or bear it), my beauty." Zelensky replied: "Ukraine is a beauty, but not yours."

I am not your beauty

These photos are from my Facebook page “Stand with Ukraine – Chicago.” Working on this page helps me live through the wartime nightmare. I hope that this page helps other people at least a little bit. I also hope that my photos promote awareness about the war. Some of them are exhibited at the art show “Stand with Ukraine” at the Buchanan Art Center, held in place of the previously scheduled exhibition by my photography students. My triptych “Stand with Ukraine” is exhibited at the South Bend Museum of Art.
