March Artist Gary Riggs

Hello! My name is Gary Riggs. My wife calls me GP (my middle name is Patrick) and my friends call me Riggsy. I grew up in Granger, Indiana, and attended Penn High School and then Indiana University where I studied business and history. I especially enjoy American history and learning about our nation’s Presidents. I still live in Granger, along with my lovely wife, Jen and our sons, Liam, Nolan, Cole & Brady. Our family is very active, we love to travel and find new adventures!

My photography career began by taking pictures of things that I found fascinating such as architecture, nature, rusty old cars and our local landscapes. Our love of travel helped me begin to discover new places through my lens. I also took advantage of shooting the beautiful and unique landscapes of nearby Notre Dame and Chicago. As my experience and interest grew, I expanded my efforts to begin working with people during special life moments. I love meeting new people, getting to know them and having the opportunity to tell their stories through pictures.
